Tuesday Blues

Tuesday is when George realizes progress isn’t always visible, much like his workout results. In the spirit of Tuesday humor, we can laugh at our own struggles during this midweek slump.

Tuesday is the Middle Child of the Week

You see, Tuesday is like the middle child no one remembers. It’s not Monday, the oldest, full of new-start promises and weekend regrets so fresh, they still smell like last night’s leftovers. But it’s not Friday either, the youngest, the golden child, always showered with attention and happiness like it’s won the lottery without buying a ticket. Tuesday just sits there, awkwardly, desperately trying to get noticed like a neglected plant in the office that gets watered during monthly inspections only when Brenda spills her coffee on it. Tuesday’s only consolation is that it’s not Wednesday, the hump day.

Wednesday is the awkward teenager of the week, with a metaphorical acne breakout and the kind of social anxiety that makes you rethink every conversation you’ve had since 2003. But at least Wednesday has something—a hill to climb. Tuesday? It’s just flat land as far as the eye can see, an endless prairie where dreams go to nap.

Progress Isn’t Always Visible—Like on a Tuesday

Now, when my therapist says, “Progress isn’t always visible,” I’m convinced she secretly moonlights as a motivational speaker for Tuesdays. Just because you’re not Monday or Friday doesn’t mean you don’t matter! Tuesdays are the silent, uncelebrated small victories in life. Sure, no one throws you a parade, but hey, you didn’t accidentally call your boss “Mom” this week, so there’s that.

It’s like finding $5 in your coat pocket or realizing your password was “1234” all along. Tuesday is that parking spot right in front—nothing glamorous, but a minor miracle in your otherwise chaotic week. It’s the unheralded hero, the delicious surprise of discovering your leftover Chinese food when you thought you’d already eaten it out of desperation. Tuesdays are the secret handshakes in the club of life; you don’t see them coming, but when they do, you nod knowingly.

The Optimism of Making it to Tuesday

But let’s be positive because, after all, Tuesday is a day we all make it through whether we like it or not, with the same inevitability of Uncle Jerry’s annual “Take a Look at My Colonoscopy Photos” evening. Tuesday has potential; it’s a streak, like that time you made it to the gym every day for a week straight and then celebrated by binge-watching your favorite show for a month.

Streaks deserve recognition! Consider it like a school cafeteria meal—not a lavish feast but, hey, it fills you up and gets you to the next class, even if it’s more mystery meat than Michelin star. Every Tuesday is a step on the staircase of life. You don’t celebrate the individual steps, but without them, you’d never reach the landing where all the good snacks are.

Tuesday is your trusty pair of shoes, worn and reliable, and definitely not Instagram-worthy, unless irony is your brand. It’s the socks and sandals of weekdays, unapologetically practical yet the butt of all jokes. So let’s raise a glass, or at least a half-empty coffee cup, to the unsung hero, the underdog of the week, because without Tuesday, how else would we appreciate the glory of Friday?

Without Tuesday, where would we be? Probably in a weird time-loop where Monday never ends and Friday never arrives, like some twisted sitcom that never gets a renewal. Cheers, Tuesday humor! You may not be the life of the party, but without you, the party never starts.

About Brad (Founder, Chaos Coordinator, CEO-ish) Hi, I’m Brad—the guy behind Choice1-3D who thought, “What if cartoons, music, and life lessons all argued in the same room?” I create Pixar-style 3D animation, comedy shorts, and original music that poke fun at real life, make you laugh, and occasionally sneak in something meaningful before the raccoons knock it over. While Henry edits everything to perfection, Gina ignores the budget, and the raccoons eat literally everything, I keep the lights on, the ideas flowing, and the stories coming. My desk is mostly notes, coffee, and bills—but somehow it all turns into fun. Choice1-3D exists because life is loud, weird, and funny… and sometimes the best way to understand it is through a cartoon raccoon and a good laugh. Welcome to the madness. 😄
